JOANNE MILLER
Joanne Miller is a writer, actor and comedienne who has worked in radio, tv, film and theatre. Her work has brought her to many theatres across the country including the Stratford Shakespearean Festival, The Banff Festival and Neptune Theatre. In 2013, she was recognized with nominations for two Merritt Awards and an Actra Award. She played the lead on CBC’s popular series Backbencher, which took home a New York Festivals’ award and was the lead in the Gemini award-winning TV series Olliver’s Adventures. Joanne’s writing: Cradle and All, Habit of Murder, and The Creation of Molly Carter has been featured in theatres across Nova Scotia. Last fall, her sit com, Dear Stella, was voted top 30 in the CBC Comedy Coup contest. As a simulator, Joanne has helped many organizations develop skills in customer service, management and investigations. She has worked with Hill Advisory Services, Dalhousie Law School was an on call simulator for Scotiabank from 2005-2011.
